Lavender is soothing, antibacterial, and its essential oil is one of the most versatile in the household:
- as a disinfectant additive for cleaning floors and kitchen work surfaces
as a kitchen first aid for minor cuts and due to its natural antiseptic effect
- as an insect repellent (even in animals, to keep fleas away) or to repel anthill undiluted
- when washing instead of fabric softener: it is not necessary to use a traditional fabric softener to rinse clothes, we can use vinegar and a few drops of lavender oil instead for a pleasant smell and disinfection
- can be added to any cleaning agent to neutralize the pungent odor of chemicals and to enhance the disinfecting effect
